Paddle sensors

Working principle

Rotary blade monitor
A paddle driven by a small electric motor rotates continuously inside a silo or tank. As soon as the
paddled is covered with a powder or a viscous fluid the opposing torque causes the motor to rotate
in its housing, triggers a reed contact and switches the motor off. When the level of the material falls
the motor returns to its starting position and begins to rotate again.
